Meadowbrook is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility as well as a rehab facility for seniors with varying levels of disabilities.

  • The weekly visits help to provide a spiritual need for the elderly in our community.
  • We offer Christian love as we witness to people who, due to age or physical impairment, are unable to participate in the worship services of the church.
  • We bring the message of Jesus Christ to them through singing, reading scriptures, and through joyful fellowship.

A group of men and women from our church and from another church gather at Meadowbrook every Tuesday morning at 10:30 for a worship service.

Scriptures are read, devotionals are given, and prayers are spoken.

And, backed by guitar and piano, songs are sung with the residents joining in singing old familiar hymns.

Communion is offered once a month by our Pastor. brook7

The fellowship we share will often bring big smiles and lots of laughter from the residents as well as from our church group.

The Meadowbrook Outreach Ministry welcomes anyone who enjoys being a part of a church group that helps to provide a spiritual need for the elderly. No musical talent is required, just a caring heart and a helping hand.

For a very rewarding outreach ministry, join us every Tuesday at 10:30am at Meadowbrook Care Center. For directions to the Meadowbrook facility in Van Alstyne, click here Map showing location of Meadowbrook.
